Job Overview

Boyds J and C Construction is seeking a skilled and dependable CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our field operations team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a wide range of commercial trucks, including dump trucks, side dumps, water trucks, low boys, truck and pup, and belly dumps. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safe driving practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, side dumps, flatbeds, belly dumps, and equipment trailers.
• Perform accurate pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Transport equipment and materials to designated project sites efficiently and safely.
• Properly load and unload equipment and product using correct techniques and safety practices.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, field crews, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all company safety regulations.
• Perform minor preventative maintenance as needed and report vehicle issues promptly.
