Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to ensure the smooth operation and reliability of our equipment and machinery. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency within our facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to production machinery including but not limited to conveyor belts, gear boxes, motors, pumps, packaging machinery, etc,
• Fit and install new parts as needed
• Carry out quality inspections on machinery
• Respond immediately to equipment breakdowns
• Fix faults or arrange for replacements to be installed
• Conduct scheduled checks on machinery and parts
• Oil and clean machinery and parts regularly

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with 3-phase, 480V systems
• Experience with feed systems, gearboxes, and hydraulics
• Skills in maintaining and operating PLCs and motors
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Prior welding and fabrication experience is a plus

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
