Finance Manager

Robert Half is immediately seeking a Finance Manager on an interim basis for one of our clients in the Portland area. Your day-to-day responsibilities would include :

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance 3-statement financial models (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow).
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual budget-to-actuals analysis, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Own financial reporting for board presentations, investor updates, and senior leadership reviews.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, and Marketing to drive forecasting accuracy and cost management.
  • Perform variance analysis, KPI tracking, and scenario planning to support strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within NetSuite ERP; optimize system workflows for efficiency.
  • Develop dashboards and reports leveraging advanced Excel and BI tools to provide actionable insights.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally in Non Profit or Healthcare setting.
  • Proven experience with NetSuite ERP and advanced Excel modeling (macros, pivot tables, complex formulas).
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial controls, and corporate governance.
  • Exceptional skills in financial modeling and 3-statement analysis.
  • Experience preparing board-level presentations and investor reporting packages.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, problem-solving, and analytical mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth CPG environment.
