Job Description

As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol in Westlake Village, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and routine patrols. This is a driving position, where you will interact with tenants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Monitor for potential security-related issues and report any unusual activity or incidents according to established protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and property management to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
