.Net Developer - Hybrid

This is for 3 full time .NET developer. This role does require some Python experience, mainly around scripting. We need someone that can take this area and write all code and handle development required to keep up with moving their .NET apps to the cloud.

• Ideally 7+ years of practical experience.
• 7+ years of C#, .Net Core, and SQL development experience.
• 2+ years of cloud development experience, AWS experienced preferred
• 3+ years of systems analysis and design experience.
• 2+ years delivering solutions as a member of an agile team

Work Package

3x 100% Application Developer

• Experience building cloud-based solutions in AWS

o Designs, maintains, and manages the cloud-based infrastructure used to run applications in AWS’s cloud

o Works with development team on application migration with focus on security and performance

o Works closely with DevOps team to assist in automation of infrastructure as code

o Participates in application and network architecture design sessions

o Experience in high volume messaging and messaging throughput

o Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes

o Documenting application changes and developing updates

To support continued innovation, this client embeds sensors throughout their vehicles. These sensors track all aspects of the vehicle’s operational integrity, location, and driving behaviors. Sensor data is sent to this client where it is analyzed for downstream applications. Partners consume this data through APIs to detect situations where intervention is required for the trucks to operate at maximum efficiency and safety.

The objectives of this activity are :

• Modernize and containerize all modules in Legacy Platform and migrate into AWS Cloud
• Delivered code and procedures comply with Volvo coding and security standards
• Identification of opportunities for better utilization of current Software
• Ongoing general support and maintenance of Software
• Assistance with installing upgrades and updates of Software
• Knowledge transfer with respect to Software
• Automation of program, system or application processes
• Addressing technical support issues requiring extensive analysis or on-site assistance
• Modifying Software configuration settings due to IT infrastructure changes
