About the Role :

The Staff Accountant provides will be the first in-house accounting hire that reports to the head of finance, and helps with the bookkeeping, tax, compliance, and auditing process. Job Description :

• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other special reports.
• Prepares and maintains detailed documentation for external auditors and internal use, as well as participates in audits with internal / external parties.
• Performs general ledger duties.
• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Prepares regular and ad hoc reports, performs analysis of data and provides summary information regarding relevant accounting data.
• Manage all accounting transactions, prepare budget forecasts, process periodic closings, assisting preparing data for financial statements.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills / Abilities

Education Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required, Master's Degree in Accounting preferred Experience
