Position Summary
The Department of Mechanical and Industrial is seeking to hire multiple graduate students positions focused on research and software development.
This position contributes to the design and delivery of research projects and collaborates with researchers to develop, execute and interpret research projects. Performs complex laboratory and data collection techniques. We are developing new and improvising existing solutions that helps scientists develop comprehensive understanding of the structural properties of soft tissues.
Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Familiarity with Engineering design and mechanics of materials
Demonstrated experience in CAD softwares, SolidWorks and FEM softwares, ABAQUS
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of two years of professional programming experience.
Demonstrated experience in programming languages, C++
Previous experience in performing mechanical testing experiments, tensile experiments
