Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An educational opportunity is available for a dedicated professional specializing in teaching students with visual impairments within a K-12 setting. This contract position spans the current school year and is based in the Naperville, Illinois area.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with visual impairments, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Utilize adaptive technologies and materials to support learning and mobility.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Provide training and resources to staff and families to foster an inclusive environment.
