Conduct diagnostic tests using advanced tools and software to troubleshoot engine issues.Perform moderate complexity repairs and replacements on engine components, ensuring optimal functionality.Assist A-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow.Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize engine performance.Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for engines.Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in developing their skills and knowledgePerform vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure vehicles are safe for our customers.Diagnose and perform accurately all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including the repair of brakes, HVAC systems, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmissions, electrical systems, drivability and other repairsAssist with road calls and emergency service repairsEnsure work orders are completed properly and accurately. Maintain records of all maintenance work completed including parts and supplies used.Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.Other duties as required.Qualifications :
5 years of experience as a Mechanic, preferred.21 years or olderValid driver’s license required with a clean driving record.Good fabrication and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills.5+ years of automotive or electric vehicle repair employment experience or combination of education & experience.Ability to pass a DOT physical examination, including a background and a drug test.Must have appropriate mechanic’s tool set.ASE certifications preferred; ASE certification program providedMechanic’s Tool SetSubject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.Physical Requirements :
Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbsAbility to perform work in all weather conditionsThe employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, standing.Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
