Quality Assurance Technician

We currently have an Installation Technician opening for team-oriented individuals possessing vocational training in electronics or electromechanical engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for providing service on ST products at customer sites. The position provides customer contact for all post-installation problems on security systems and equipment, as well as, special project work, when needed.

Responsibilities

• Field oversight on subcontractor to assure adherence to scope and specification
• Growing knowledge of the specific details, reading specifications, and learning the best practices
• Assure quality workmanship on detail items, both educating and checking on cable management, device plumb, caulking, terminations, shrink tube, labeling, grounding etc.
• Field Photographs of rough in and device install and support of the mark-ups of them for submittals to assure the client’s GC’s Electrical is performing to spec. “Rough in Mockups”
• Attending of field coordination meetings, pull plan meetings, tailgate meetings and safety meetings in lieu of or with the Project manager.
• Aid with schedule coordination and work in certain areas, by assisting in the detailed upkeep of the conditions reporting documents. (Client Site Readiness Doc and STC’s Short Interval Task Plan)
• Effectively be a force multiplier for the Project Manager supporting all aspects of the project as it relates to the Subcontractors field laborers and their practices.
