This position is for 36 hours per week on day shifts, and it offers a competitive salary range of $83,200 - $93,184.
As a Clinical Nurse II, your responsibilities will include :
- Implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, executing treatments, procedures, and special tests while ensuring accurate documentation in compliance with policies and regulations.
- Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to effectively assess patients' conditions.
- Conducting thorough patient assessments to gauge needs and responses to care.
- Making informed patient care management decisions based on sound nursing judgment.
- Providing both primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
- Administering over-the-counter and prescription medications as per orders.
- Collaborating with the nursing team to develop and implement comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
- Directing and mentoring ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.
Minimum Qualifications :
A professional academic nursing program graduate with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is necessary.1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.Outstanding communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills are essential.Knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving techniques is vital for improving departmental and patient care quality.We appreciate your interest in becoming a vital part of our team!
