Tax Sales Services Manager

The Auditor-Controller / Treasurer / Tax Collector's (ATC) office is recruiting for a Tax Sales Services Manager to plan, organize, and direct the operations and staff of the Tax Sale and Bankruptcy Section within the Tax Collector Division. This position manages the end-to-end process for Chapter 7 (Public Auction), Chapter 8 (Agreement Sale), Sealed Bid, and Mineral Rights sales in full compliance with the California Revenue and Taxation Code, State Controllers Office (SCO) procedural guidelines, and County policies. The manager oversees the preparation, review, and execution of legal documents including Notices of Power to Sell, Chapter 8 Applications, Agreements, Board Resolutions, and Publication Notices. The Tax Sales Services Manager supervises and develops professional staff, assigns and monitors workloads, ensures coverage during peak sale cycles, and participates in hiring, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
