Job Summary : Are you a people person who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you have a knack for upselling and a passion for achieving goals? If so, we want you on our team! No prior insurance experience is necessary we provide comprehensive, free training in our local office. This position offers a competitive salary, plus commission and bonuses for upselling.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist clients on the phone and in person.
  • Answer billing questions & process payments.
  • Process changes to policies with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Check for savings options & review coverage with customers that ask about their policy.
  • Help clients file a claim on their policy after an accident or damage, answering all their questions along the way.
  • Upsell products to current clients to earn commission.
  • Assist in planning and executing client appreciation events.
  • Assist the agency owner with on boarding new business, by gathering information and obtaining client signatures.

    • Key Qualities :

  • Driven, ambitious, and competitive.
  • High energy and goal-oriented.

    • Insurance License :

  • After 60 days, you'll take an insurance license training course and pass the state exam (expenses covered by us).
  • Must meet state requirements for obtaining a license (background check required).

    • Qualifications :

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a retail, office, bank, or similar environment.
  • We prefer applicants who have been shift lead, assistant manager, or run a customer service counter.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proficient with multi-line phone systems, printers, copiers, scanners, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer-focused approach.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with a competitive spirit.

    • Work Environment :

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM.
  • After 2 years of employment, Fridays will be shortened to 8 : 00am-2 : -00pm!
  • No evenings, weekends, or holidays.
  • Option to work remotely on snow days when Moorhead Schools are closed.
  • This will not become a remote position.
