Job Description

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Understand individual patients' challenges and create personalized therapy strategies to help achieve their functional aims
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based interventions to boost patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with Multi-disciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical doctors, and nursing staff to provide thorough and well-rounded patient care
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Teach patients and their loved ones therapy methods to foster progress in everyday settings
• Monitor Progress and Outcomes: Keep track of patient growth and amend treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that progress remains on track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement for ongoing education or additional certifications post-graduation

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification essential
