This role is integral in treating patients effectively under physician directives and departmental policies. You'll work autonomously in various acute and critical care environments, collaborating with medical teams to recommend treatments suitable for patients of all ages, including infants to geriatrics.

We offer competitive sign-on bonuses for eligible full-time positions : $7500 for Direct Care Respiratory Therapists with over one year of experience, and $5000 for those with less than one year. This position does not include supervisory responsibilities and reports to a designated supervisor or manager.
Minimum Requirements
Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina is required. Senior students graduating within three months are also welcome to apply.
Required Certifications
Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in South Carolina, or eligibility for licensure, is mandatory. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, along with maintaining NBRC credentials. Applicants hired after June 2016 must pass the Therapist Multiple Choice Exam at the Registered Therapist cut score and complete the Clinical Simulation Exam within six months of hiring to avoid termination.
NRP and PALS certifications are required for those working in the Children's Hospital, specifically in the NICU and PICU, before independent operation.
Other Required Skills
Ability to thrive in a team setting with strong communication, organizational, and computer skills is essential.
