Logistics Lead

The Logistics Lead is responsible for overseeing daily shipping, receiving, and material movement activities to ensure timely and accurate execution of logistics operations. This role serves as a key point of coordination between warehouse, transportation, and production teams, driving efficiency and compliance across the supply chain.

Responsibilities include :

• Lead and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, including scheduling, documentation, and carrier communication.
• Monitor inventory movement and ensure accurate system transactions for shipments and receipts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve shipping delays, inventory discrepancies, or material shortages.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, company policies, and regulatory standards (e.g., DOT, OSHA).
• Train and support logistics team members on procedures, systems, and safety practices.
• Maintain shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and freight invoices as needed.
• Track key logistics metrics and report performance to leadership.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to transportation, packaging, and warehouse flow.
• Assist with audits and customer visits as needed.
