LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology MD in Petersburg, Virginia, 23805!

A leading regional medical center is seeking a board-certified OB / GYN physician for locum coverage in a hospital-based setting. The provider will manage deliveries, perform essential obstetric and gynecologic procedures, and handle inpatient consultations. This role offers a supportive team environment and flexible on-call scheduling.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for admitted and unreferred patients.
  • Perform C-sections, vaginal deliveries, suction D&C, and manage ectopic pregnancies and abnormal bleeding.
  • Collaborate with the hospitalist and surgical team to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Respond to emergency cases and perform procedures as needed.
  • Accurately document all patient encounters in EPIC EMR.

  • Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (required).
  • Active Virginia Medical License (required).
  • Active DEA registration (required).
