Business Development Manager - Commercial Roofing

Baltimore Maryland

$140000-$150000 Bonus & Benefits

The externals group are working with a Large commercial roofing contractor who run multi-state operations They are on the look out for an experienced Business Development Manager to take lead in the following :

Job Info : As a Business Development Manager You will take lead of not only the sales but also the marketing share side of the business within a specific territory to build strong relationships covering B2B sales. Your experience should demonstrate a strong track record in successfully selling to other businesses and the ability to build a strong portfolio of accounts using means of event networking referrals and prospecting. This position would require the ability to work efficiently on a computer as well as being comfortable working at a desk for long periods of time.

General responsibilities include :

  • Develop a successful sales strategy within your territory to increase market share as well as creating a steady plan for future sales using the tools provided.
  • Use techniques such as networking cold calling & prospecting to acquire new customers while maintaining current client relationships.
  • Evaluate customer needs to provide as much relevant information so the team can provide accurate proposals.
  • Work closely with Sales Reps estimators and other support staff to ensure a smooth process for clients Providing excellent customer service throughout.
  • Successfully track performance and create an accurate financial analysis on the completion of the job.

Requirements :

  • Proven track record of in portfolio building & B2B sales
  • Strong networking customer communication organization & time management skills
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in roofing construction or industrial sales is required
  • Flexibility to travel locally as and when needed.
  • A powerful drive for sales.
