Manager Operations
The position supervises the repair and overhaul process of SafranHE family of engines and accessories. The position participates in the organizational planning / reporting for all Operations activities and goals.
Essential duties and responsibilities include ensuring that safety is a priority, coordinating and implementing training of assigned employees, monitoring key performance indicators, reviewing performance and conducting evaluations of assigned personnel, tracking and controlling the output / throughput volume of assets through the shop, ensuring that priorities set by the Master Schedule are met, communicating / measuring shop and personnel performance in regards to quality, cost and delivery, measuring, tracking and improving efficiencies of assigned personnel, responsible for preventative maintenance schedule on all shop equipment, ensuring 5S / cleanliness of shop and all work stations, supporting and implementing all SafranHE and FAA rules and regulations, and travel required 5% internationally.
Required competencies include an airframe license desired; power plant license required, a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred, two to five years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, and intermediate level Microsoft Office : Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Scope and responsibilities include supporting and implementing all SafranHE USA and FAA rules and regulations, SafranHE USA and management policies as well as Mission, Vision, & Values, assisting in the planning of the future of SafranHE USA; for both near and long term, assigning and monitoring work of assigned employees, including training and coaching; conducting of ongoing performance planning and appraisal; hiring, transferring, promoting, and managing performance and terminations; and recommending actions.
