My client is a robust manufacturing and finishing powerhouse, geared for high-volume production of precision metal components. Their vertically integrated setup spanning machining, plating, engineering and tool design positions them as an industry leader within the automotive, medical, industrial and aerospace sectors.

Job Description

The Plant Manager will report directly into the CEO and be responsible for :

  • Oversee daily plant operations including manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and logistics.
  • Drive productivity, throughput, and process optimization using Lean / Continuous Improvement principles.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of supervisors, operators, and technicians.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to meet customer and business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Manage budgets, KPIs, and capacity planning initiatives.
  • Identify and implement best practices to scale production and improve margins.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, Operations Management or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, ideally in high-precision, high-volume environments.
  • Proven track record of managing plant P&L, labor, safety, and quality metrics.
  • Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and ERP / MRP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in automotive, aerospace, or medical component manufacturing is highly desirable.
