About the Role
The Company is on the lookout for a skilled Assistant Chief Information Security Officer (Assistant CISO) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will work closely with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to enhance our security operations and promote excellence in incident response readiness and data protection. As the operational key player, you will lead the security operations rhythm, oversee the major incident management process, and create comprehensive runbooks and playbooks.
You'll be tasked with designing and implementing a robust multi-layer incident response strategy and advancing our data protection capabilities while serving as an engaged leader in security architecture. To be a successful candidate, you should bring a minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership position focused on security operations, incident response, or data protection.
We value strong communicators who excel in engaging with executives, customers, and partners. Practical experience in security architecture across various controls is essential. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required, and an advanced degree is highly desired. Candidates with a CISSP certification and experience in the public sector will have an advantage. Proficiency in Spanish and / or Portuguese would also be beneficial.
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to reduce Mean Time To Detection (MTTD) and Mean Time To Response (MTTR), enhance control health, and positively influence our go-to-market strategies.
