Doctor of Medicine | Cardiology - General / Other

Location : Richmond, VA

Employer : Lancesoft Inc

Pay : $230 to $240 per hour

About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Cardiology MD in Richmond, Virginia, 23226!

  • Seeking a Board-Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist in Richmond, VA for a locum-to-perm opportunity.
  • The position involves both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, with full-time coverage including call.
  • Provider must be local (only mileage reimbursement).

Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide inpatient, outpatient, and clinic-based cardiology care.
  • Manage 10 clinic patients daily and 12–15 inpatient admissions per day.
  • Perform and interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs).
  • Participate in rotating night and weekend call (ratio 1 : 6).
  • Supervise and collaborate with 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs).
  • Document all patient encounters in Epic EMR

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology with LVAD experience (Required).
  • Fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure (Required).
  • Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) certification (Required).
  • ACLS certification (Required).
  • Active DEA registration (Required).
  • Local provider required (travel not covered, mileage only reimbursed).
