About the Role

This role owns the end to end execution of wearable hardware products , from early concept through mass production. You will sit at the center of design, engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality, and you will be accountable for shipping real product, on time, at scale.

This is not a lab-heavy, heads-down engineering role. If your ideal week is mostly CAD, bench testing, or detailed component design, this role will likely not be a fit.

This role is for an engineer who wants to own hardware outcomes, make tradeoffs, and drive decisions across multiple functions and external partners.

What you'll accomplish...

• Own wearable products from concept through EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production
• Act as the technical product owner across ME, EE, ID, firmware, QA, and manufacturing
• Translate product requirements into clear technical specifications and execution plans
• Drive design reviews, risk assessments, and readiness milestones
• Work directly with overseas contract manufacturers and suppliers on :

DFM, DFA, and cost optimization

Base salary offered is determined by a number of factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skills. This role is also eligible for bonus compensation and employee benefits.

NYC Base Salary Range : $90,000 - $140,000 USD
