About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Stepdown RN in Memphis, Tennessee, 38116!

The Stepdown RN provides intermediate-level nursing care to patients requiring more frequent monitoring than a general Med-Surg unit, but who are stable enough to not require ICU care. The nurse is responsible for managing complex clinical conditions, cardiac monitoring, and post-ICU transitions while ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

Requirements

Requirements :

Active RN License — State specific or Compact (as applicable)

Experience : 1–2 years recent Stepdown / PCU / Telemetry acute care experience

Certifications : BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred

Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation

Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Must be able to work rotating weekends / holidays as required
