Job Summary

The Agricultural and Standards Program Aide provides essential support and assistance in enforcing agricultural and weights and measures laws, as well as agricultural pest control programs. Under supervision, the role focuses on field and office activities to ensure compliance, protect crops, and maintain agricultural standards.

Knowledge of :

Basic record-keeping methods and procedures.

Principles and practices of effective customer service.

Ability to :

Learn to identify common insects and plants relevant to the assigned area.

Read and plot trap locations accurately on maps.

Follow verbal and written instructions carefully.

Explain basic policies, procedures, and laws to the public.

Maintain clear and accurate records and prepare simple reports.

Read, write, and speak English effectively for satisfactory job performance.
