About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Urology Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins on Feb 9, 2026, and features day shifts from 8 : 30 am to 5 : 30 pm, Monday through Friday. Candidates must have recent urology clinic experience and prior operating room exposure to guide patients on surgical expectations and procedures. The role offers a dynamic environment in a urology clinic setting, with potential for extension.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver direct patient care in a urology clinic setting
  • Educate patients on surgical procedures and post-operative expectations
  • Utilize prior operating room experience to inform and support patients considering urological surgery
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage urological conditions in collaboration with supervising physicians
  • Perform and assist with urological procedures as permitted by licensure
  • Participate in pre-operative and post-operative care for urology patients
  • Document patient encounters and care plans according to clinic protocols

  • Prior operating room experience in urology required
  • California licensure required
