Job Summary and Qualifications

The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for assisting the staff in the TCT Clinic (Transplant and Cellular Therapy Outpatient clinic with patient care). Helps patients by providing information services and assistance, securing medical records, maintaining medical supply inventory, scheduling, processing physician orders, chart prep, assisting with office correspondence and records / specimen retrieval. Additionally, may participate in obtaining and / or monitoring vital signs, drawing blood specimens, reviewing patient history questionnaires, updating med action plans, transporting patients and in assisting the professional staff with patient care activities.
