Job Overview :

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Payment Processor to join our client to support accurate financial transactions and help maintain smooth daily payment operations. This temporary, onsite role in Fishers, IN focuses on ensuring payments are posted correctly, resolving exceptions, and safeguarding data integrity across multiple systems. The position plays a key part in reducing risk, improving processing efficiency, and delivering reliable internal service. You'll collaborate with various teams to investigate issues, reconcile discrepancies, and keep essential records up to date.

Compensation : $20 / hour

Work Schedule :

Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 a.m.-5 : 00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities of the Payment Processor :

• Process, post, and reconcile incoming payments and disbursements to ensure accuracy across servicing systems.
• Manage daily exceptions by researching discrepancies, resolving pending items, and minimizing operational risk.
• Coordinate with internal partners, attorneys, title agents, and borrowers to gather information and complete short payoff requests.
• Maintain and update account records, including ACH setups, transaction reversals, scanned payments, mail items, and cash management documentation.
• Analyze data, identify root causes of issues, and support continuous improvement through fact-based decision-making.
