The Role
We have an immediate opening for a Staff Materials Specialist. This exciting role has a responsibility for determining wafer needs, the most critical and expensive of AMD purchases on a weekly basis to balance customer needs, product changes, yields and inventory.
The Person
The ideal person for this role has excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse groups. They also have knowledge in statistical analysis, forecasting, inventory and production management theories and application in practical situations. They have strong systems and quantitative modeling background.

Semiconductor Industry, Fab and / or Supply Chain Experience Experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse Experience with SAP system Programming skills in PowerBI, PL / SQL is preferred
Academic Credentials
Bachelors or Masters degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Management or Computer Science preferred.
