The Strategic Grocery team is seeking a Trade Planning Lead (TPL) to provide the Midwest Yogurt customer selling teams with analytic, trade planning, and trade systems support to advance our Yogurt Partnership with key retailers including Publix, Sams Club, Dollar General, Ahold / Delhaize and Albertsons / Safeway.

In this role you will gain experience with large retailers and partner with the Sr. Customer Manager and field selling teams on planning for the Midwest Yogurt brands. You will work closely with Consumer Insights, the Marketing Teams, Supply Chain, and Customer Marketing to help to create and evaluate our omnichannel plans.

The Strategic Grocery team is looking for a candidate who can step into this role and demonstrate strong analytical skills, show flexibility and resilience and showcase an ability to build strong internal and external influence skills.

This role will be based in one of our two Corporate Offices (Minneapolis, MN or Londonderry, NH area). Remote may be considered in unique situations.

Key responsibilities for this position include :

EXECUTIONAL EXCELLENCE

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable insights
  • Ownership for results against Gross Sales, spend efficiency, share
  • Takes personal accountability and ownership for results, deeply understands consumers, delivers market leading innovation and prioritizes what's important
  • Assist customer teams to help maintain accurate planning and spending information in the trade planning system; educate others on importance of trade planner accuracy
  • Actively participate in the design of feature programs and coordinate with internal teams to optimize resources and strengthen their effectiveness

PROBLEM SOLVING & ANALYTICS

  • Utilize retailer data (Market 6, 84.51, etc) paired with Circana data to identify issues and opportunities
  • Retrieve and analyze customer and consumer data to understand category and / or industry trends
  • SELLING EXPERTISE & LEADERSHIP

  • Provide the team with support and guidance on trade tools provided by Lactalis' central trade planning team

    Qualified applicants will contribute the following :

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience in sales, account management, trade funding, category management or other relevant experience
  • Successful demonstration of analytical skills using various internal and syndicated data sources (e.g., Market 6, 84.51, Circana, etc)
  • Must be proficient in software packages (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) & internal systems (Trade Planner / Volume estimating)
  • Self-starter with high resiliency, attention to detail, and comfort in a fast-paced environment
