Security Officer

Post Location : Signal of Olive Branch [Post will be the Milwaukee Tools Company]

Schedule : Full time and Part time WEEKENDS required.

Shift : Evening shift (3p-11pm) and Overnight shift (11p-7a). Limited 1st shift (7am-3pm) Flexibility is preferred.

Pay Rate : Starting at $13.00 hourly with Biweekly pay.

Must have :

• Must be 21 years old or over
• Valid driver's license (for vehicle patrol posts not required for access / guard shack positions)
• Able to read, speak, and write in English
• Must be able to be attentive, proactive and show good attention to detail
• QUALITY patrolling and report writing required
• All officers must be confident and comfortable with verbal de-escalation and must be able to communicate well with team members and other employees on site
• Must be able to work shifts requiring walking, standing, driving and for roving patrol officer must be capable of time management and ability to conduct vehicle AND foot patrols on multiple properties per shift

Signal patrol officers must be ALERT, engaged and proactive. Officers must be able to conduct a variety of vehicle AND foot patrols on site, must be comfortable responding to issues on site, contacting local emergency personnel as needed, must be able to appropriately support Signal and client property management with issues on site, must be able to complete DETAILED reports including explanations of observations, property activity including clear photos, respond to calls, interact with activity and individuals on site and monitor actively for unusual activity on site.

Applicants must have good customer service skills and the ability to interact and communicate proactively with others. Must be observant and detailed oriented in order to report any activity that could be described as unusual, keep track of systems and vehicle traffic in-and-out of the property, effectively verifying tag numbers and driver's license of incoming / outgoing vehicles. Must be interested in and able to work on foot requiring walking / standing as a part of the job duties.

Position Summary :

A Signal Dedicated Officer will conduct static security services for courtyards, offices, pools, and other high value areas to ensure all required access points are properly secured and to ensure protection of property and residents with a high degree of attentiveness to details and safety. All duties listed below are minimum requirements – additional duties listed in the site's Post Orders are requirements as well.
