Responsibilities

Your Route to Success :

Home Daily NO layovers

Solo routes with consistent schedules

Afternoon / evening dispatch

Paid time off, including paid leave (in compliance with state and local regulations), vacation, sick, holiday, jury duty, and bereavement. Associates accrue 1 hour for every 40 hours worked of sick time off. Additionally, associates accrue 1 week of vacation time in their first year of employment with 9 holidays per year.

Please note that the compensation details listed in postings reflect the base pay only. Location, confirmed job-related skills, education, experience, and relevant training will be considered in setting the actual starting salary.

Qualifications

Qualifications Required of this Position :

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and possess a current DOT Medical certification card.
  • One to three years driving tractor-trailer experience.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate to maintain positive customer relations climate with other drivers / warehouse personnel / customers / supervisors.
  • Capable of standing, walking and repeatedly climbing into and out of road tractor or switch tractor.
  • Must be able to work all necessary work schedules, including holidays / weekends.
  • Requires safely operating equipment in extremes of weather and climatic conditions and ensure working in a cold environment (cooler / freezer).
  • Must be able to frequently lift / handle cases ranging from 5-75 pounds.
