Cancer Registry Apprentice

A company is looking for a Registry Apprentice to support cancer registry services.

Key Responsibilities

Receive one-on-one mentoring and training in abstracting

Complete training program assignments with support from the Education and QA team

Participate in company-wide contests and health-focused initiatives

Required Qualifications

ODS-certified with less than 6 months' abstracting experience or more than 6 months' experience with fewer than 5 primary sites

Passing score on the Registry Apprentice pre-employment assessment

Knowledge of standard cancer registry manuals and resources

Experience with various email and business software applications

Willingness to learn in a systematic and collaborative manner
