Superintendent – General Contractor (Winston-Salem, NC)

Salary : $100,000 – $130,000 + Benefits

Are you an experienced Superintendent looking to take the lead on diverse and meaningful construction projects? Our client, a well-established General Contractor based in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a talented Superintendent to join their team. Role Overview

As Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all field operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, and field staff to create a smooth construction process from groundbreaking to closeout.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead day-to-day onsite construction activities.
  • Maintain the highest safety standards and enforce site safety protocols.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and scheduling activities.
  • Monitor project progress, quality control, and plan adherence.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to field personnel.

    • Requirements :

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent for a general contractor.
  • Background in at least one of the following project types : healthcare, education, religious, sports, or utility plants .
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and safety compliance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
