Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days (8 : 00 AM - 8 : 30 PM) with every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ER) will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with relevant policies and protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
  • Active New Jersey RN License (must be in hand at the time of application)
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Flu Immunization is mandatory unless a valid medical exemption is provided
