[job_card.job_description]Clinic + Call Monday-Friday 8a - 5p, and 1 : 3 call(nights and weekends) Provider must be willing / able to do both OB and GYN call. The facility s weekend call is from 8 am Saturday through 8 am Monday. Provider must be able to commit to these times. Provider cannot be greater than 30 minutes from the hospital during their call commitments. Setting : Clinic, hospital, and call Total number of beds : 15 No APPs at this time. Support staff : medical assistant, RN, sonographer 2-3 exam rooms, Onsite lab and ultrasound Basic OB / GYN services including colpo About 50 / 50 low risk vs. high risk pregnancies 60% of practice is GYN EMR : Cerner Low risk pregnancy Pt s with pre-existing problems, history of twins, history of toxemia, pyelonephritis, hyperemesis, etc. High risk pregnancy Pt. s with toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiacs, chronic lung problems, chronic renal disease, etc. FHR interpretation NST / CST / FSE OB ultrasounds - Performance of Interpretation Amniocentesis Routine delivery Vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section Complicated delivery C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, etc. VBAC s Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Office / minor gynecology IUD, Cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc. Surgical gynecology open Laparoscopic diagnostic / minor only tubal ligation, LOA s, chronal tubation Operative / major (includes diagnostic) ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA s Board Certified or Eligible Active IL license or IMLC (highly preferred) Must be available to offer 1 week per month BLS, ACLS NRP
