We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of facility operations and support functions in Petaluma, California. This contract-to-permanent position requires a hands-on leader adept at managing diverse teams, ensuring compliance, and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will collaborate with executives to implement strategic growth initiatives while maintaining high standards across all departments.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee all facility operations, including livestock handling, slaughter, fabrication, order fulfillment, inventory, and shipping.
- Manage and mentor direct reports across multiple departments, fostering skill development and success.
- Develop and implement employee training programs to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Maintain facility hardware and software functionality, ensuring seamless workflows.
- Collaborate with executives to design and execute strategic growth plans.
- Monitor and enhance quality assurance processes to meet industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, as well as industry-specific regulations.
- Establish and maintain operational protocols to mitigate risks and improve processes.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to address facility maintenance and development needs.
- Lead initiatives to optimize sanitation, security, and environmental monitoring systems.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in facility operations or a related field.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.Proven expertise in compliance management and quality assurance.Familiarity with operational workflows in manufacturing or production environments.Ability to develop and execute training programs for diverse teams.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in facility management software and systems.Experience in strategic planning and risk management.
