Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Foreman Pipe / Earthwork / Roadway to oversee daily operations on construction sites. The ideal candidate will lead a team of craft employees ensure adherence to safety standards and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Specifically this position will require previous knowledge working on storm / sanitary / sewer pipe shoring for deep excavations dewatering concrete roadway rehabilitation on-road / off-road excavations fine grading and subbase operations etc.

Responsibilities / Functions :

• Supervise and coordinate activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Work with the Superintendent to schedule work assignments and manage workflow to optimize productivity.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project Superintendents.
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct daily safety meetings with union craft employees; explain in detail the work to be accomplished and how it is to be accomplished.
• Act as OSHA defined competent person on job.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance to union craft employees on proper techniques and safety practices.
• Resolve / report conflicts and address any issues that arise on the job site.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed materials used and labor hours.
• Submit daily timecards for crew beings supervised.
• Submit daily diaries and photos of construction progress.
• Collaborate with project managers engineers and architects to facilitate project goals.
• Inspect work performed by subcontractors to ensure conformance with specifications
