International Forwarder Seeks Japanese Bilingual Import Agent

An International Forwarder is looking for a Japanese Bilingual Import Agent. Responsibilities include checking and handling shipping documents (Invoice, Packing Lists, etc.), inputting shipment data into internal systems, assisting with tracking cargo and reporting status updates, arranging customs clearance and delivery, processing payment for import charges, and generating invoices to customers by utilizing our system. The role also requires communication with shipping companies, truckers, and various branches within the company under guidance. Logistics experience is welcome but not required. Essential skills include communication, proficiency in PC applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the ability to manage transportation schedules. Accuracy in data entry is crucial. Japanese language proficiency at a business level is required.
