Overview

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced PET Tech.

This position requires on-site work at multiple locations throughout the Denver metro area and is eligible for mileage reimbursement in accordance with company policy.

Salary Range : $35.00-55.00

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Performs PET scan procedures to include injection of radiopharmaceutical, setup of protocol, reconstruction and development of images, coordination of image on report function and archiving of images.
• Assist in scheduling procedures and related front office functions to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensures accuracy of patient demographic information, report distribution and patient files.
• Collects clinical data for patient follow-up and development of teaching and educational information.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelors degree in nuclear medicine technology from an AMA accredited program. Minimum three to five years experience in nuclear medicine and / or previous PET experience. CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) and / or ARRT (N) certification and state licensure where applicable. PET Technologist with (ARRT) (R) (N) (CT) or NMTCB (CT) highly desirable.

Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, operate a calculator, telephone, copier and other such office equipment.
