Packaging Operators are responsible for packaging of liquid and dry materials into containers according to customer specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Other Duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

Packaging Operators may be responsible for assisting with training and supervision of temporary or new employees.

Qualification requirements : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and / or Experience :

High School Diploma or GED. Georgia Work Ready test required. Minimum Scores : Graphic Literacy : 3; Applied Math : 3; Workplace Documents : 3.

Language Skills :

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret packaging sheets and MSDSs. Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and visitors.

Mathematical Skills :

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to interpret bar graphs.
