Caretree Health is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Director of Billing to lead our organization’s billing operations across our growing network of skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities. This senior leader will oversee all billing functions, drive accuracy and efficiency, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Billing Department, overseeing all day-to-day operations.
• Manage the full revenue cycle for multiple SNFs, including Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, private pay, and secondary billing.
• Ensure timely and accurate claim submission, payment posting, and denial management.
• Partner closely with facility administrators, finance, admissions, and corporate leadership to optimize reimbursement and streamline processes.
• Monitor regulatory changes and maintain strict compliance with CMS, NYS DOH, and payer-specific requirements.
• Develop and implement billing policies, workflows, and performance metrics that support organizational growth.
• Analyze billing data, identify trends, and provide reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
