Executive Business Assistant

Location : Austin, TX | In office

Job Type : Full-Time

Reports to : Founder / CEO

We are seeking a polished, proactive, and highly connected individual to support our senior leadership in building and maintaining high-impact business relationships. This role goes beyond traditional administrative support, serving as a strategic marketing partner and networking liaison for our CEO. This role requires a professional who thrives in networking environments, has a strong understanding of marketing strategy, and excels at facilitating networking and partnership opportunities. You’ll manage high-level communications, coordinate with key stakeholders, and ensure the executive team is always informed, prepared, and well-represented.

You’ll need to operate with discretion, agility, and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, understands the pace and expectations of tech leadership, and is passionate about building strong professional networks that drive company success.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships on behalf of the CEO and executive team.
  • Proactively identify networking opportunities (conferences, panels, investor meetings, etc.) and manage executive participation.
  • Manage complex calendars and schedule high-impact meetings, networking events, and industry engagements.
  • Prepare briefing materials, bios, talking points, and follow-up communications for external meetings.
  • Represent the company in a polished, professional, and approachable manner.
  • Handle confidential information and strategic communications with discretion and integrity.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in an executive assistant role, ideally in a tech / startup or investor-facing environment.
  • Exceptional networking, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong understanding of business etiquette and executive-level engagement.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Tech-savvy with fluency in Google Workspace, Slack, LinkedIn, Notion, Zoom, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Affinity, HubSpot).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful.
  • Preferred :

  • Prior exposure to investor relations, fundraising processes, or board governance.
  • Familiarity with the startup ecosystem or venture capital landscape.
  • Experience supporting public speaking engagements or media appearances.
