A company is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join their Vertical Market Operations Team remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Verify purchase requisitions and recommend alternatives based on cost or lead time
Prepare and issue purchase orders, manage online databases of materials, and track orders to ensure timely delivery
Negotiate costs with vendors and resolve shipping errors or damages with suppliers
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a purchasing environment
Preferred : Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related coursework
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office applications
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
