Job Description

AM Shift : Monday - Friday 7 : 00AM - 3 : 30PM

Pay : $17.00 - $18.00 an hour depending on experience

As a Shipping Operator you will :

Packing products and preparing them for delivery. Navigating customer websites and data entry.

What will my responsibilities include?

• Verifies and keeps records of outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment : Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Prepares items to remain free from damage in transit or storage by use of protective sleeves, wrapping, and padding.
• Is expected to visually inspect outgoing product as the last line of defense in the company-wide quality system.
• Input of data entry.
• May coordinate with others in preparing outgoing shipments.
• Access customer portals to determine shipping instructions.
• Move material to other areas of the factory.
• Clean and maintain work area as part of 5s program
• Maintaining 5's + Safety of department
• Serve as a backup driver for the department when needed
• Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate - overtime may be required
