Job Description :

North Bronx Pharmacy in Bronx is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team. We are looking for a professional who can dispense medications accurately, provide excellent pharmaceutical care, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. If you are motivated and committed to excellence in patient care, we encourage you to apply. Candidates available for immediate joining are preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Medication Dispensing : Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.
  • Patient Counseling : Provide detailed counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
  • Regulatory Compliance : Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
  • Controlled Substances Management : Maintain accurate records and manage controlled substances responsibly.
  • Staff Training : Oversee and train pharmacy staff to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborative Care : Work with healthcare providers to manage and improve patient care.
  • Inventory Management : Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock.
  • Insurance Processing : Handle insurance claims processing and reimbursement efficiently.
  • Customer Service : Address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns professionally.

    • Job Requirements :

  • Must Have : A valid state required pharmacist license
  • Must Have : Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.

    • Skills :

  • Strong knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency with pharmacy management software systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
  • Experience with inventory management and cost-saving measures.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing a pharmacy team.
