LOCATION : Anaheim, CA
PAY RANGE : $23 / hr. - $28 / hr. (based on experience)
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Filings in State Court.
- Calendaring – Must have experience in calendaring court deadlines, discovery deadlines, reminders, etc.
- Drafting Pleadings and Discovery (i.e. draft shells, proofread, cite check, perfect formatting, etc.);
- Proficient in Microsoft Word (especially Tables of Authorities and Tables of Contents for Motions);
- Summarizing deposition transcripts;
- Knowledge of law / motion and discovery deadlines pursuant to the CCP;
- Conducting Intakes with Potential Clients;
- Communicating with clients, setting up calls, and meetings; and
- Familiarity with CasePEER is a plus.
- Familiar with personal injury is a plus.
- Must have computer literacy.
- 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal required
