Seeking BE / BC Gastroenterologist to join talented team due to patient need and expansion.
- Current team of 5 GI’s and 3 NP’s.
- Expanding their endoscopy area at the hospital and will have 3 full updated rooms.
- 4 weeks wait time for new patients.
- Full time position – Monday thru Friday
- 36 Patient Contact Hours – 4 Admin Hours / week
- 1 : 5 Call – Consult Only Service - No Admissions
- Consults and rounding a done by the physician on call.
- 75 / 25 split on clinic lab / endoscopy
- 11 - 12 Patients per day for procedures; 20-25 per physician seen in the clinic
- Each physician has their own designated RN for support
- 5000 cases per year in the endoscopy area – 500 inpatient / 4500 outpatient
- 150+ ERCP and 200+ EUS annually and growing
- Cancer Center is affiliate with Duke Health Network, which allows for cancer cases to stay in network and local to the area versus referring.
- Candidates can do a general GI practice, but there is also demand for ERCP and EUS procedures / advanced endoscopy if desired
