Cloud Software Engineer

Thomson Reuters is currently seeking a highly motivated cloud software engineer to build and deploy the foundation for the next generation of modern cloud native software applications and services for Thomson Reuters. About the Role

As a Cloud Software Engineer you will :

• Work with discrete cloud native micro services with simple repeatable cloud native patterns technologies supporting multi-region deployments canary testing and utilizing ephemeral hardware running in public cloud like AWS Azure or similar
• Leverage PaaS (Platform as a Service) or IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) solutions
• Work in Windows and
• Nix environments including writing scripts
• Work with continuous build and delivery automation including Git / Bash scripts Cloud Formation AWS Code Build & Code Pipeline Maven Gradle Docker JFrog Artifactory terraform Linux or similar
• Conduct test automation and testing frameworks including jUnit Spock etc.
• Identify externalized dynamic configuration properties
• Utilize distributed logging such as Datadog
• Utilize distributed data stores such as S3
• Reference templates and automation for creating and software delivery pipelines
