Remote Accountant

The Staff Accountant supports the financial operations of Telluride Regional Medical Center by performing day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with reporting and audits. This role ensures compliance with healthcare accounting standards and helps maintain the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations.

Qualifications :

This is a remote position but local candidates are encouraged to apply. Position is hourly / non-exempt and the pay range is $28.85 - $36.06 per hour.
